Audrey Gregory, PhD, RN

Executive Vice President and CEO for the AdventHealth East Florida Division

Audrey Gregory, PhD, RN, is the executive vice president and CEO for the AdventHealth East Florida Division. In this role, she oversees strategic initiatives for the area’s largest hospital system, including 7 hospitals and more than 11,000 team members. Since joining AdventHealth in 2021, Dr. Gregory has guided the Division through the opening of a new hospital and the transition to Epic electronic health records. Dr. Gregory’s career began as a trauma and emergency room nurse, and her decade of clinical experience has informed what is now more than 20 years of dynamic leadership as a healthcare executive. In addition to her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, Dr. Gregory earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Georgia Southern University, and in 2011 she completed her doctorate in global leadership from Lynn University. She currently serves as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Hospital Association/Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) Black Women CEO Roundtable. Dr. Gregory has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Women Leaders (2022) and recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review’s Black Healthcare Leaders to Know (2023), Women Hospital Presidents and CEOs to Know (2023), and 60 Health System CEO Influencers (2023).
