AdventHealth University’s Honors College is designed to motivate students get a head start on their future by guaranteeing them an interview with select graduate programs their junior year.

*The participating graduate programs are occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant, and healthcare administration. You would need to finish your bachelor’s degree before starting graduate school, but you could have the security of knowing you were already granted an interview for the graduate program.

Freshman Admission Requirements

  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative high school GPA.
  • ACT composite score of 24 or higher; or a combined SAT Critical Reading and Mathematics score of 1110; or a combined SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Mathematics score of 1180.
  • Successful interview with the Honors College admission committee.
  • Be a first-time college student with no credits to transfer except dual enrollment, AP, or IB credits.

Transfer Student Admission Requirements

  • Have a minimum college GPA of 3.7 from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Have less than 32 transfer credits (excluding dual enrollment classes).
  • Complete a successful interview with the Honors College admission committee.

Honors College Requirements

* The Honors College is still under development. Requirements are subject to change.

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher in all undergraduate coursework.
  • Enroll full-time (15 credits or more) two trimesters out of the school year.
  • Participate in all required colloquiums, advising, service learning, and research.
  • Pass a mid-program interview with the selected graduate department.
