Kim graduated from Loma Linda University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in OT, and from the University of Central Florida with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education in 2002. Her dual degrees in education and occupational therapy led her to Orange County Public Schools, where she worked as both a treating therapist and an OT diagnostician for the majority of her career. She specializes in providing educationally relevant therapy services as a school-based practitioner. She continued her education in 2005, graduating with a Master of Health Sciences degree from the University of Florida. Kim began working at ADU in 2013, and currently serves as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Master of Occupational Therapy program, and as an assistant professor teaching two pediatrics courses. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at UCF’s College of Education, and plans to graduate with an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020.
