Marlene Watson is an associate professor of nursing at Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU), in Orlando, Florida, since 2005. She holds a doctorate degree in education (EdD) from Nova Southeastern University, and master (MSN) and bachelor (BSN) degrees in nursing from the University of Central Florida.
In her role as a full-time faculty, Dr. Watson teaches in various courses, working primarily with junior and senior students. She also served as a clinical adjunct for the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Watson is the founder and President of Youth United for Christ, a local 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to mentor both children and young people through various experiences such as leadership seminars, youth retreat, and youth camps. Dr. Watson has organized and participated in several mission trips to Haiti, where her team taught and completed health related topics and screenings at an English Camp. Additionally, she has coordinated many local outreach events, serving displaced families in her community.
