New Student Registration
Please find the most current dates for New Student Registration in our Academic Catalog, and be sure to contact your Academic Advisor prior to registration — their approval is required to start reserving courses.
Upon returning the invitation included in your AHU acceptance letter, you are assigned an Academic Advisor. This confirms to us your intention to enroll.
All general studies students will be assigned to an Academic Advisor in the CAA to help in the selection of appropriate courses for their program of interest.

Applying to an on-campus Associate's or Bachelor's degree program? Please indicate your desired path on our online application. Once admitted to General University, you will gain access to a separate application for the program of your choice by logging into my.ahu.edu.
New Student Orientation is offered on several dates before the start of each trimester. You'll learn everything you need to know to get started here at AHU, including parking information, school policies, and resources available to help you do your best.
As an incoming first-year at AHU, we require you to take a Proficiency Profile exam within your first trimester. This exam does not affect your admission status or your GPA.
Academic Placement Testing
Academic placement tests may be required for new students. To determine whether you need to schedule an exam, please refer to your admission status (either Regular-AP or Probation-AP) or by checking your ACT or SAT score.
Paying for college can seem scary. It doesn’t have to: we offer a variety of scholarships, grants, and financial aid options available to make your dream of studying at AdventHealth University a reality. Our Financial Services Office will be happy to give you some information to get you started.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 8 am to 3 pm. Appointments are recommended.
