About Our AST Curriculum

The AST program requires 60 credit hours, completed over two years of full-time study. Students complete foundational courses in biology, chemistry, physics, math, and applied technology. The curriculum blends lecture, lab, and hands-on learning, and is intentionally flexible to allow customization based on each student’s unique career goals and aspirations. Students can customize their learning with targeted tracks and elective options that align with their career or transfer goals.

The degree program is structured to support smooth transfer into advanced science and technology bachelor’s programs, including biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and computer engineering. Even though internships are not required, we encourage students to explore opportunities through affiliated partners.
