  • Question: How do I register for tickets?

    The link to register has been provided in the email that graduates received from Marching Order. Log Into Marching Order

  • Question: Do Graduates need a ticket to attend the ceremony?

    Graduates do not need a ticket but will receive a GradPass that they will need to present to gain entry to the event.

  • Question: How many tickets is each graduate allowed?

    Eight tickets.

  • Question: Are children included in the eight tickets allotted to each graduate?

    Yes. Eight allotted tickets include adults or children aged 3 and older. Children 2 years of age and under do not need a ticket, but must sit on an adult's lap.

  • Question: Can I transfer my unused tickets?

    A. Yes. Unused tickets are transferrable. Graduates can gift any unused tickets to another graduate. Each ticket has a unique QR code and can only be scanned once.

    How to transfer tickets:

    • Graduate needing extra tickets (receiver) should provide guest(s) email address to graduate gifting tickets (giver)
    • Giver should add the receiver’s guest(s) information into Marching order
    • Receiver’s guest(s) will get an email with tickets enclosed

  • Question: How can I get extra tickets?

    You can connect with another graduate and ask them to gift you any unused tickets. How to transfer tickets.

  • Question: Are  the tickets sent out to my invited guests automatically?

    AHU does not send out the tickets to your guests, however you can email them out to your guests from the Marching Order site. If they are not in their inboxes, please have them check in their Junk/Spam mailbox.

  • Question: Can I log in to resend the guest tickets?

    Yes, you can always log back into the Marching Order site to resend the guest tickets, if needed. As a reminder, each ticket has a unique code, so be sure your guests do not share their tickets.

  • Question: Can I just print out all the invitations and give them to my guests?

    Yes, you can print out the tickets. As a reminder each ticket has a unique code, so be sure that you do not print 8 of the same ticket but print out each individual unique ticket.

     When you log back into Marching Order, you’ll see the button to print/email tickets on your home screen.

Arrival and Seating

  • Question: Where can I find my arrival window?

    The arrival window is 8:30 am to 9:30 am and is also shown on the guest ticket and grad pass

  • Question: What happens if I or my guest arrives late outside of the arrival window?

    Late arrivals will not be allowed into the event. The parking lot will close 15 minutes prior to the event. In the event that this occurs, please note that the group will have the option to watch the livestream of each ceremony.

  • Question: When will I be allowed to check-in and be seated?

    Check-in and seating for guests will begin at 8:30 am and will end at 9:45 am.  Doors and parking lot will close at 9:50 am

  • Question: Can guests be seated as soon as they arrive?

    Yes, if within your arrival window. The "holding" of seats is not permitted. Members of your party who arrive separately will be seated separately.

  • Question: Where do Graduates sit during the ceremony?

    Graduates will be seated with their class. Graduates of the same program will be seated in the same section.

Parking

  • Question: Where should I park?

    Follow event signs for parking. View parking and venue map (PDF).

  • Question: How early can I arrive?

    You can arrive as early as you would like, but you will not be allowed to check in until  8:30 am.

Safety and Prohibited Items

If anyone in your party is exhibiting any flu-like symptoms (e.g., but not limited to fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestions, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea), please join the celebration by viewing the livestreamed event on AHU's Youtube Channel.

  • Question: Will baby strollers or car seats be allowed?

    Strollers are allowed but will have a designated parking area in the lobby.  Car seats are allowed.

  • Question: Will there be flower sales during the graduation?

    Flowers will be available before and after the ceremony.  You will be able to pay with cash or through electronic forms of payment like Venmo or CashApp. 

Ceremony and Regalia

  • Question: If I do not want to attend the in-person ceremony, how can I view the graduation?

    The ceremony will be livestreamed and available at AHU's Youtube channel on April 22, 2024.

  • Question: Can I decorate my cap?

    Yes. All decorations must comply with the dress code policy of AdventHealth University. View student deportment and dress policy.

  • Question: Can I wear a custom sash to Graduation?

    Yes, only approved custom sashes as outlined on the regalia vendor’s website. View Oak Hall Website.

  • Question: Is there anything that I am prohibited from wearing?

    Please review the our student deportment and dress policy. Please note, you may be standing for long periods of time and using stairs, please wear comfortable shoes.

Photography

  • Question: How soon will I get my photos?

    Prints will arrive within 10-14 days from the date the order was placed. Digital images may be received in as little as 12 hours from the time that the order was placed and in no more than 3-5 business days from the order date. The link will be sent to the student issued email account.

  • Question: How can I make an appointment for a professional portrait?

    A professional photography company will be onsite at AHU to take your graduation portraits during the following dates.  Please be sure to make your appointment to reserve your time slot. Please be sure to bring your regalia for the portrait. Each appointment is 15 minutes.

    Flip is a website and app that allows you to share your thoughts, thank your loved ones, and celebrate your accomplishments with a video message.

    AHU Graduates, faculty and staff.

  • Question: When will it open?

    Flip is now open and ready to capture your recordings. Earlier video submissions have a greater chance of being selected to be shown at graduation. Selected messages recorded before April 1, 2024 will show during the ceremony.
