Congratulations Graduates

The Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, April 22, 2024.

We're proud of all that you've accomplished as a student at AdventHealth University and excited to celebrate this achievement with you. Here are the remaining things you'll need to do in order to graduate and participate in the commencement ceremony.

Applying to Graduate

Submitting a Graduation Application will enable you to register for your capstone course(s) and provide us with the details we need to plan for the ceremony. Complete the Graduation Application and email it to ahu.registrar@ahu.edu. A graduation fee of $115 dollars will be assessed to your student account upon processing and approval of your graduation application.

Ordering Tickets

Each graduate is allowed a maximum of 8 tickets to the graduation commencement. Tickets can be ordered through the Marching Order website. Graduates must have a Graduation Application on file in order to access the website. The site will open December 1, 2023.

Deadline to Order or Transfer Tickets: March 15, 2024

How to Use Marching Order

  1. Look out for registration link via your @my.ahu.edu email.
  2. Select 'New User', then 'Register', then enter your email to receive your password email.
  3. RSVP for Graduation via Marching Order site. If you are unable to attend, please indicate using the Marching Order form and review the Diploma Release Checklist.
  4. If applicable, submit the recording and the phonetic spelling of your name.
  5. If applicable, submit your graduation-themed photo in regalia or professional dress.
  6. If applicable, submit your personal message.
  7. Reserve tickets for your guests. Each graduate is allowed a maximum of 8 tickets. Children 3 years of age and older require a ticket. Children 2 years of age and younger do not require a ticket but must sit on an adult's lap.

Transferring Tickets

Unused tickets are transferrable. Graduates can gift any unused tickets to another graduate. Please note that all tickets have a unique QR code and cannot be duplicated. Each guest must have their unique ticket.

  1. Graduate needing extra tickets (receiver) should provide guest(s) email address to graduate gifting tickets (giver).
  2. Giver should add the receiver’s guest(s) information into Marching order
  3. Receiver’s guest(s) will get an email with tickets enclosed

Ordering Regalia

All graduates must order their regalia online through Oak Hall. Regalia includes cap, gown, hood, and tassel. All regalia will be mailed directly to the students. There is no additional charge to order your regalia.

Receiving Your Diploma

Diplomas are mailed six to eight weeks after the end of each trimester. To ensure there is no delay in sending your degree, please complete the following steps:

  • Check for Holds. All holds except for the alumni hold must be cleared before degrees are conferred and mailed. Check your student account for holds.
  • Complete Exit Loan Counseling. If you received student loans while attending AdventHealth University, you must complete exit loan counseling on the National Student Loan Data System website. When selecting a college, make sure to choose AdventHealth University (03115500)Complete Exit Loan Counseling
  • Complete Financial Literacy Course. All potential graduates are required to take the financial literacy courses which includes Financial Basics and Managing Student Loan debt. The courses are designed to help you understand how to budget your money and manage your federal loan repayment. If you did not take out any loans while attending AHU, you are not required to complete the Managing Student Loan Debt course, however, you DO need to still take the Financial Basics course. The courses can be accessed by going to https://www.financialliteracy101.org/AHU and using the access code AHU-GRAD.   • Acquire Business Office Clearances. You can view your student account ledger to see if you have a zero balance by logging in with your user name and ID at https://my.ahu.edu/academics/Mars/student-account.
    To make an online payment, log in with your user name and ID to https://my.ahu.edu/university-services/financial-services.

Graduates may order diploma frames through Church Hill Classics.

Graduation Announcements

Graduates and guests may order graduation announcement through Jostens.

Photography

Professional photos of graduates as they cross the stage will be provided to each graduate at no additional cost.

Day of Graduation

Graduates are invited to visit the selfie photo op area at the graduation venue.  

GRADIMAGES Portrait Days

A professional photography company will be onsite at AHU to take your graduation portraits during the following dates. Please be sure to make your appointment to reserve your time slot. Each appointment is 15 minutes.
