Student Life

Students are encouraged to get involved on campus. Various professional programs plan activities and events to keep students engaged. Campus Ministries is another great way of getting involved and meeting new friends. Activities such as picnic and play, weekly worship services, MAKE talent show, a Gala Dinner, and bowling nights are just a few of the events planned by this vibrant group of students. If you are not able to participate as a leader, consider being a volunteer for the various events organized. In addition to on-campus activities, students can join local church-based ministries with one of the 60+ Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Orlando area. The Campus Ministries team as well as the Campus Chaplains are located in The Office of Mission, at the Andersen House. Students are invited to come and enjoy the Andersen House’s back porch which has a lake view or take advantage of the study room also available. Stop by to relax and meet new friends, to chat or pray with one of the Chaplains, or just to say hello and grab a yummy snack!

Frequent Activities

Every day at noon, students and chaplains meet for a brief prayer time.

This student-led Friday night vesper’s service joins praise, worship, fellowship, and food. These are held most Fridays at Hospital Church but some weeks it is at Andersen House with a bonfire out back.

Prayer Breakfast

Once a week at 7:30 a.m., students gather for free breakfast, some social time and prayer all before classes start for the day.

Picnic and Play

Takes place once a month courtesy of The Office of Mission behind the Andersen House. There is great food, games and plenty of socializing while everyone enjoys the best view on campus!

Hospital Ministries

Several times a trimester groups of students go to the hospital to spread cheer by visiting and singing to patients.

Spiritual Emphasis Day

In this monthly service, students gather in the chapel for praise, a guest speaker, and free lunch.

Pancake Feed

Every exam week the Campus Ministries team serves breakfast to the students in the lobby of the CC building to help them through their finals
