Description:

This course is an introduction to the fundamental principles of inorganic chemistry. Topics covered will include atomic and molecular structure; chemical bonding; stoichiometry; states of matter; chemical kinetics and acid-base equilibrium; acid-base equilibria and nuclear chemistry, within emphasis on the application of chemistry to everyday life.

Notes:
A college level math course or two years of high school algebra with a minimum grade of "C" or permission of the department chair.
