| Description: | This course is a continued study of the fundamental principles of the chemistry of living organisms. Included are bioenergetics and metabolism of proteins and nucleic acids, regulation of gene expression and signal transduction pathways, hormones and the study of neurotransmitters, acetylcholine, catecholamines, serotonin, and gamma-aminobutyric acid. |
