| Description: | Healthcare Research Methods introduces students to methods for conducting and interpreting research and evaluations within health services organizations. This course will introduce students to a variety of research concepts and the scientific method of data and information gathering. Topics covered include identifying measurable research questions; evaluating the scientific literature; qualitative and quantitative study designs; basics of data management; a survey of statistical methods; and publishing scientific papers. |
