| Description: | This ASN course reviews the normal processes and relationships involved in aging. Emphasis is on promoting and maintaining the health of client and family while adapting to the stresses of altered relationships, mental and physical capacities, productivity, and self-care independence that accompany increased aging. Particular attention is given to the use of pharmaceuticals in the management of healthcare as vulnerability increases. This course includes two credit hours of theory (30 clock hours). |
