Description:

This clinical course is designed to critically examine the determinants of health, wellness, and illness prevention for individuals and groups throughout the life span. The focus is on teaching and learning to promote wellness in community settings using the concepts from nursing, nutrition, biopsychosocial sciences, and Healthy People 2030. The course is taught over the entire trimester. This course meets the requirement for an oral communication course. This course include 2.2 credits of theory (33 clock hours) and 0.8 credits of clinical (36 clock hours).
