Description:

This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the provision of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and strengthening the adult patient/client lines of defense and resistance to environmental stressors. The student will provide care of the patient/client experiencing selected chronic stressors affecting the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, developmental, and spiritual variables. The student will provide care within the acute care setting.
