Description:

This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the management of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention in strengthening the patient/client lines of defense and resistance to environmental stressors. The student will manage stressors affecting the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and spiritual variables of the patient/client system. The student will provide care in an acute care environment. This clinical course is designed to facilitate the transition to the role of Registered Nurse.
