| Description: | This course introduces the student to the profession of Occupational Therapy, including its definition, history, philosophy, and theories upon which the practice of occupational therapy is built. The practice of OT is fully explored, including the process of therapeutic intervention in multiple practice settings. Students develop skills for therapeutic relationships and an awareness of therapeutic reasoning skills for diverse populations. |
