Description:

This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of biomechanics and kinesiology as they pertain to human movement. The student will learn to identify anatomical landmarks through palpation skills, perform manual muscle testing and goniometry, and be introduced to principles of exercise. Particular emphasis will be placed on movement of the upper extremity, especially as it occurs while engaged in activities of daily living.
