| Description: | This course is designed to give students an overview of quantitative and qualitative research processes. Students explore principles of research design, measurement, data collection, sampling, and data analysis through critical evaluation of published studies and the development of a research proposal. Principles of evidence-based practice are incorporated, in order to assess the state of the science and direct decision making in nursing practice related to improving patient and population health outcomes.
