Description:

This course will explore the major areas of pediatric sonographic imaging: the central nervous system, genitourinary system, gastrointestinal system, and musculoskeletal system. Normal anatomy will be reviewed and an in depth exploration of pathology specific to the pediatric patient will be explored including congenital anomalies and neoplasms. Students will develop a research project to include diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of a pathology.

All Sonography prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of "C+" (2.30).
