Biography

Bryan Lounsberry is an Assistant Professor of Biology at AHU. He teaches lecture and lab sections of General Biology and Anatomy and Physiology and has also taught Sectional Anatomy and Medical Terminology. He received a B.S. in Health Sciences from AHU and a Joint Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management from Nova Southeastern University. His graduate research focused on marine mammals and their reproductive physiology. Professor Lounsberry is also the faculty sponsor of the HBS department’s Pre-PA Society and the Health and Biomedical Sciences Club, the umbrella club that includes the Pre-PA, Pre-Med, and Pre-Therapy Societies. He has also held the honor of being the official mentor of a Newman Civic Fellow at AHU.
