Carlo Semerzier was born and raised in Haiti. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell campus). He later received his master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Florida. He is currently enrolled in the doctorate of higher education leadership program at Nova Southeastern University. Professor Semerzier teaches lecture and lab sections of General Chemistry, Principles of Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry lab here at AdventHealth University. He is an experienced research and development Chemist. His research team successfully developed a drug released coating for stents used in the treatment of coronary artery diseases.
