Biography

Dr. Diane Gordon is a seasoned nursing professional and educator with more than 25 years of experience in clinical practice, higher education, and leadership. Dr. Gordon has dedicated her career to shaping the next generation of nurses through innovative teaching, mentorship, and evidence-based practice. Her journey in nursing began with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Excelsior College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Hartford. Committed to advancing her knowledge and teaching ability, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on education from Grand Canyon University. She later achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing in nursing education from the same institution.

Dr. Gordon’s professional career reflects a balance of hands-on clinical practice and academic excellence. She has served in key leadership and instructional roles at many institutions and mentored students from diverse backgrounds. Outside of academia and clinical practice, Dr. Gordon gives back to her community through volunteer service. Through her work, Dr. Diane Gordon continues to inspire excellence in nursing education and practice.  She desires to glorify God through the profession of nursing, to inspire others to serve faithfully, and to remind every student and colleague that caring for others is not just a duty but a sacred calling.
