Donna Burske, MDiv, DMin

Dr. Donna Burske serves as chaplain manager for AdventHealth Medical Group in Central Florida. In that role, she leads pastoral ministry for more than 4,000 team members and the patients and families that their 325 physician practices serve. Prior to this assignment, she led pastoral ministry at AdventHealth’s Winter Park hospital for more than 17 years. Dr. Burske is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree, and also completed her Doctor of Ministry there with an emphasis on ministry within the workplace. Having completed multiple units of Clinical Pastoral Education, Dr. Burske is a licensed, commissioned minister with Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She has taught Jesus and Contemporary Society, Bio-Ethics for Nursing and Allied Health, and Understanding Grief and Loss. Outside of the academic setting, she has facilitated breast cancer groups, grief groups, multi-faith clergy care groups, and has developed and lead lay-ministry groups in the hospital setting.
