Professor Jack Facundus is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over three decades of experience in acute and outpatient care. A familiar face within the AdventHealth system, Jack dedicated 26 years to the Orlando campus, specializing in Medical/Surgical care, Psychiatry, and Vascular Access. Dually certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), his clinical expertise is further distinguished by a specialization in Addiction Medicine (CARN-AP).
Throughout his career, Jack has demonstrated a deep commitment to service and leadership, including work as a medical missionary in Brazil and a term as President of the local chapter of the Infusion Nurses Society. His academic background includes degrees from Southern Adventist University, the University of Central Florida, and Regis College. After serving as an adjunct instructor, Jack transitioned to a full-time Assistant Professor role within the BSN faculty at AHU in 2025. Today, he balances his passion for educating the next generation of nurses with his private telehealth practice.
