Johanna Espenschied, MHS, PA-C

Johanna Espenschied is a proud Florida native who has been serving her local community as a certified physician assistant since 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Central Florida and went on to complete a Master of Science in Health Sciences at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.

After completing her graduate training, Johanna returned to Central Florida to pursue her passion for dermatology, specializing in both clinical and cosmetic care. Her approach to practice is rooted in empathy, education, and advocacy—empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health. She fosters collaborative relationships with her patients, emphasizing clear communication and personalized care.

In addition to her clinical work, Johanna has played a key role in mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals by precepting and training physician assistant students throughout her career. Her commitment to education ultimately led her to transition into full-time academia, where she now serves as a faculty member at AdventHealth University.
