Karen Gomez, DNP, MSN, CRNA, APRN

Dr. Gomez has extensive experience as a nurse anesthesia educator and program administrator.   Dr. Gomez earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, her Master’s degree from Rush University in Chicago, and her Bachelor of Science degree from York College of Pennsylvania.   She is currently earning her Masters of Business Administration degree from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.   Dr. Gomez is champion of global health, and has lead more than 30 medical missions to underserved areas in the past decade.  Most recently, Dr. Gomez was the Program Director at the NorthShore University HealthSystem School of Nurse Anesthesia in Evanston Illinois, where she spent over 15 years as an anesthesia clinician, educator, and administrator.  Dr. Gomez brings an education philosophy rooted in inspiring authentic engagement in students, faculty, and staff.
