Mary Rysewyk, DNP, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC

Dr. Rysewyk is an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and dedicated nursing educator who joined Advent Health University in 2024. At AHU, she teaches Childbearing in Nursing and Pediatrics in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program.

Dr. Rysewyk earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Samford University, building on her foundation in advanced practice nursing. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Central Florida.

Her clinical expertise in neonatal care is matched by a passion for mentoring the next generation of nurses. Her research interests focus on nursing retention and mentorship—critical factors in sustaining a resilient and competent nursing workforce.
