Melissa Douglas, MS, APRN, FNP-BC

Professor Douglas has been with AdventHealth University since 2020. Her degrees include ADN – Seminole Community College, BSN – University of South Florida, and MS (Family Nurse Practitioner Focus) – University of South Florida. Currently, she teaches Nursing of the Childbearing Family and Principles of Pathophysiology for the BSN Program. She serves on a variety of committees within the Department of Nursing, including the BSN Curriculum Committee. Professor Douglas has 15 years of nursing experience, including medical-surgical nursing, obstetrical nursing, and advanced clinical nursing practice.
