Orlando Lopez

President – Florida Conference of SDA.

Born into a pastoral family, ministry has been a vital part of Lopez's life, and he has dedicated himself to God's church. He began his pastoral leadership in 1997 and has ministered in Florida Conference for more than 28 years. Prior to his appointment as President, Lopez served seven years as Vice President for Pastoral Ministries. Earlier in his career, he was a beloved pastor of multiple congregations, recognized for his selfless service and passionate preaching of the gospel.

He pursued higher education and has earned a Theology degree and a master's in Pastoral Ministries with a focus on Church Leadership and Administration from Andrews University in Michigan.

At his core, Orlando is a vibrant and impassioned preacher of the gospel. His mission is resolute: to propel God's Kingdom forward through selfless service to God, His church, and His people. His vision extends to an eternity of spiritual growth alongside his cherished wife, Monica, and their two sons, Orlando and Isaac.
