Biography

Radhamés Lizardo is a professor of Finance, Accounting, and Economics in the Department of Healthcare Administration at AdventHealth University, in Orlando, Florida. Professor Lizardo holds a doctorate degree in finance (PhD) from the University of Texas-PA, a master degree in accounting (MSA) from the University of North Texas, a master degree in finance (MBA) from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, and a bachelor degree in accounting (BSA) from the Antillean Adventist University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida. His research interests are in financial markets behavior, economic development, and financial performance in the healthcare sector. He has published articles in the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money; the Cato Journal; the Journal of International Trade and Economic Development; Global Economy Journal; Energy Economics; and Business Studies. In addition to many years of academic engagements in the United States and overseas, Dr. Lizardo has extensive professional expertise in the areas of accounting, auditing, taxes, and finance. He is member of several professional associations.
