Biography

Sarah joined AdventHealth University as an adjunct faculty member for the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program in 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014 then relocated from Pittsburgh, PA to Orlando, FL. She worked in PCU, ICU, and Rapid Response within AdventHealth system until pursuing CRNA school. Sarah received her DNAP degree from AHU in 2022 and practices as a CRNA in central Florida, providing anesthesia to patients at AdventHealth facilities. Sarah has remained with AdventHealth because she loves working and teaching at a Christian institution. In her current CRNA role, she enjoys precepting student registered nurse anesthetists who are completing their clinical rotations. Sarah is passionate about increasing awareness about the CRNA role to not only the public, but also nursing students. Outside of anesthesia, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
