AdventHealth University's Hope Clinic — located at 635 Campus Loop in Apopka, Florida — provides occupational therapy and physical therapy to uninsured or underinsured community members. Patients receive free, high-quality care while students receive priceless learning and life experiences.
Students earning a degree in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and physician assistant studies receive clinical training at Hope Clinic, supervised by faculty members and Hope Clinic clinicians.
Hope Clinic, opened in 2012, also offers Phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation for uninsured patients.
We currently have more than 2,000 patients interested in being cared for at Hope Clinic - but do not have resources to treat them all in a timely manner. Every $150 donated provides one care session for a patient in need and removes them from the waiting list.

Stronger Together
In 2024, the Florida Coalition to End Homelessness honored Hope Clinic and Ability Housing with the Stronger Together award, honoring two organizations in different care systems that come together to serve individuals experiencing homelessness. The award recognized Ability Housing and AdventHealth University’s collaboration with the Wayne Densch Apartments, a multifamily development. Located in Eatonville, Florida, more than half of the apartments are rented to individuals and families that previously experienced homelessness. AdventHealth University faculty and students provide residents with a range of essential services, along with the hope and healing they offer through their caring support.

In 2024 alone, Hope Clinic provided 5,000+ patient visits, and you can take part in our mission to heal our community — one patient at a time.
