Shane Ramoutar, PhD

Prakash “Shane” Ramoutar, PhD, serves as Chief of Staff, providing leadership in strategic planning, project management, and organizational performance, supporting institutional priorities and executive decision making. Dr. Ramoutar brings more than 17 years of experience in higher education, including nine years as Vice President for Financial Administration at both Walla Walla University and the University of the Southern Caribbean. His career also includes senior roles in finance and accounting, as well as service as a faculty member. Dr. Ramoutar holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, a Master’s degree in Pastoral Theology, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration. He is currently completing a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Suffolk.
