We extend our whole-person care education to Tampa with our Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree program. The ASN degree program can be completed in as few as 24 months, allowing you to quickly enter the workforce as a registered nurse, while giving you a solid foundation to advance your education later with a bachelor’s or graduate nursing degree.

On Jan. 6, AdventHealth University Tampa opened its doors to its first cohort of nursing students.
One important aspect that sets AdventHealth University apart from other nursing programs is our connection to AdventHealth, a world-class health care system deeply rooted in whole-person care. Through evidence-based Dedicated Education Units, students at AdventHealth University learn and interact directly with nurses, physicians, and patients. More than 80 percent of AHU’s nursing graduates smoothly transition to full-time employment with AdventHealth upon graduation. AHU Tampa students receive their clinical education within the following AdventHealth West Florida Division hospitals.
In addition to exceptional on-site clinical experiences, our state-of-the-art facilities, simulation labs, and supportive environment are designed to ensure your success in the Associate of Science in Nursing program. The nursing skills lab enhances learning by allowing students to perfect clinical skills and gain confidence.
