Biography

Professor Alicia Crews is a faculty member and ASN Program Coordinator at AdventHealth University. Professor Crews holds a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University and is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC. She also earned a master’s degree in nursing education from Capella University and an associate’s degree in nursing from Herzing University.

At AHU, Professor Crews teaches a range of courses, including lab, mental health, pharmacology, and practicum, serving as the Lead for practicum. She is deeply committed to mentoring students, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages professional growth, confidence, and success.

With a strong background in psychiatric nursing and nursing education, Professor Crews is passionate about preparing future nurses with the critical thinking and clinical skills necessary to deliver high-quality patient care. Her research interests include psychiatric nursing education, simulation-based learning, and innovative strategies to improve mental health outcomes in diverse populations.
