Carolyn V. Fore, PH.D, RN has been a nursing faculty at ADU since 2001. Currently, she teaches Introduction to Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice and the Professional Issues in nursing courses. Additionally, she will be teaching the Nursing Research course for the MSN program. She serves on a variety of committees in the Department of Nursing, as well as the University, including the IRB and the Grants and Endowment Committees. She is a pediatric nurse and worked the Pediatric Intensive Care, as well as the Pediatric call-center. Dr. Fore was a founder of an inner-city clinic that served families and children who had difficulty accessing the health care system. She continues to support inner-city missions for these population health groups. Her research interests include children’s friendships related to their developmental outcomes, and children’s pain issues. She has a variety of peer reviewed nursing publications including a chapter in a nursing assessment book, journals, and monographs.
