Biography

Dr. Rollins has been an Associate Professor at Advent Health since 2021. She began her nursing career as a LPN in acute care. She then went on to receive her AS Degree in Nursing at Valencia College and worked in bedside nursing for many years. Shen earned a BSN degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and an Advanced Practice degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University. She has been in clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Community Health setting for several years and went on to earn her Doctoral degree from the University of South Florida. Dr. Rollins has a great love for serving underserved communities and improving the health equity of all people. Dr. Rollins enjoys educating nursing students about the role of the nurse in the community.
