Biography

Professor Reynolds joined AHU in 2024. She began her healthcare career in 2005 as an Emergency Medical Technician. Her degrees include a BSN from the University of Tampa and an MSN from Western Governors University (Nursing Education Track). Her nursing specialty is Emergency Medicine, and she is a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certified Trauma RN. She is an experienced and dynamic educator who began teaching pre-licensure nursing courses in 2018. Professor Reynolds has also been actively involved in new graduate RN education with several nurse residency programs. Most recently she served as the lead preceptor and mentor with the Emergency Department New in Practice (EDNIP) program with the ED Float Pool at AdventHealth Central Florida. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Florida Nurses Association, and the Emergency Nurses Association. Professor Reynolds strives to inspire her students to develop a deep understanding of nursing care. She hopes to facilitate the development of  competent and compassionate professionals who practice healthcare as their ministry.
