The Nursing Pathways Scholarship is specially designed to help you, as dependents of AdventHealth Central Florida Division team members, embark on that journey by pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at AdventHealth University.

- Eligibility requirements

Applicants must be dependent children, ages 26 and younger, of full-time AdventHealth team members in the Central Florida Division (Orange, Seminole, South Lake and Osceola counties). Parent or legal guardian must be in good standing, with one year of continuous service as of application deadline.
Applicants can be high school seniors or graduates or post-secondary undergraduates.

View AS Nursing admission requirements - Unweighted 3.5 GPA
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout AHU’s ASN program
- Composite score of 62.5% on the TEAS
- Repetition of only one minor course to be eligible for admission into nursing courses, including transfer credits. Must earn a grade of C or better for required courses.

Applicants must submit their scholarship application, including essay, letter of recommendation, high school/college transcripts, and letter of acceptance from AHU Admissions.

- How does the selection process work?

Awards are merit based and awarded to the most qualified applicants. Acceptance into the AdventHealth University ASN program is a requirement and prerequisite to filling out the application.
Once a completed Application Packet is received, the application is blinded to demographics and the AHU Scholarship Coordinator will verify the GPA, references, and validate program acceptance with faculty.

- How do I know if I am eligible for the ASN scholarship?

Applicants must be biological children, stepchildren or legally adopted children and be living with or primarily supported by the colleague (age 26 and younger).
Applicants can be high school seniors, high school graduates or post-secondary undergraduates accepted into the AHU associate degree nursing program for the upcoming academic year.&
The parent or legal guardian of the applicant must be a full-time AdventHealth team member in the Central Florida Division in good standing, with one year of continuous service as of the application deadline.

In this competitive program, 10 scholarships of up to $28,000 each are available.
- How will I know if I am awarded a scholarship?

Scholarship recipients will be notified directly in June 2024 for Fall semester and November 2024 for Spring semester.
