About Our Program
Earning your Associate of Science in Nursing can lead you to a meaningful career as a registered nurse and can be completed in as little as 20 months. In AdventHealth University’s Associate of Science in Nursing program, you’ll learn the essential skills needed for your nursing career and feel prepared and confident to take your National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses.
Nurses practice in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and schools. Some educate. Some take on valuable nursing and health care leadership roles. You’ll find nursing offers you so many opportunities and rewards.
In our Associate of Science in Nursing program, you’ll be taught by highly skilled nursing faculty members, whose real-world experience informs the instruction you receive. You’ll practice classroom teachings in simulated nursing environments so you can adeptly apply your skills to patients in real clinical settings.
Many RNs go on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing, allowing them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of nursing practice, apply critical thinking expertise to challenging care situations, and serve in leadership roles. At AHU, we make it easy for you to earn your ASN and then seamlessly continue to work toward your BSN degree in as little as 12 to 18 months.
