A Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences Designed for Your Career

When you enroll in the health sciences programs at AHU, you’re investing in both your future and your patients’ futures. With our dual degree tracks and exciting volunteer opportunities, you’ll also open new and diverse professional pathways.

To help you narrow your journey, we offer two program tracks:

  • The OTA to BSHS Track is for students who have, or who are pursuing, an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • The Clinical AS to BSHS Track is designed for students who have an associate’s degree in any clinical field or are pursuing one.

While you earn your bachelor’s in health sciences, you’ll study a wide variety of topics and fields to help you become a knowledgeable and confident health care professional. Topics include:

Hands-On Learning in a Real-World Environment.

Through our partnership with the AdventHealth health care system, students enrolled in the health sciences program will have access to state-of-the-art learning labs, patient simulators and internships that include clinical exposure with multidisciplinary health care teams in a variety of settings. We also encourage you to shadow professional health care workers during your sophomore or junior year to gain experience working with patients.

Our health sciences majors volunteer in the local community, embark on mission trips and broaden their understanding of underserved populations, both globally and locally, as part of their undergraduate experience.
