Tests for AHU Students

Cost: Free for AHU students

Accuplacer is a nationally recognized placement test created by the CollegeBoard to help determine college course placement. Prior course work and nationally standardized test scores determine whether the Accuplacer test must be taken. The results of the assessment are used to determine placement into a college math course that meets a student's skill level. We require the ACCUPLACER Next-Generation Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics test for the math placement test.

Information about practice resources, student score reports, and local testing center options are available at the ACCUPLACER Student Portal. Students, please create a username and password, and after you have set up your account, you may complete practice questions for the math placement test.

AHU students (Orlando, Denver, Tampa, and Online)

Students who have accommodations on file with the AHU Office for Students with Disabilities may take extended time course tests in a distraction free environment in our testing center.

CLEP gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on examinations. Earn credit for knowledge you've acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits, or internships.

To learn which course at AHU have an equivalent CLEP exam, see the Academic Catalog or meet with your advisor or student experience manager.

  1. Purchase a registration ticket for a CLEP exam at Clep.CollegeBoard.org.
  2. Schedule your test at our testing center.
  3. Reach out to TestingCenter@ahu.edu with any questions.

Cost: $107 for in-person at AHU

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a scholastic aptitude assessment that can be used as one component of the selection process for admitting students into the College of Nursing. The price of the exam includes sending test scores to admissions. Visit https://shop.atitesting.com/teas/teas-in-person to sign up for a date and time at our AdventHealth University Testing Center on campus at 671 Winyah Drive, Orlando, FL 32803.

Cost: $120 for ATI Remote Proctoring
