The Nursing Pathways Scholarship is specially designed to help you, as dependents of AdventHealth team members, embark on that journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at AdventHealth University Denver.

Applicants must be dependent children, ages 26 and younger, of full-time or part-time AdventHealth team members in the Rocky Mountain Region. Parent or legal guardian must have at least one year of continuous service as of the application deadline.
Applicants must be undergraduates accepted into the AHU Bachelor of Science nursing program for the upcoming academic year.

View BSN admission requirements - Unweighted 3.0 GPA
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout AHU’s BSN program
- Composite score of 62.5% on the TEAS
- Repetition of only one minor course to be eligible for admission into nursing courses, including transfer credits. Must earn a grade of C or better for required courses.

Submitting Your Application
Applicants must submit their scholarship application, including essay, letter of recommendation, high school/college transcripts, and letter of acceptance from AHU Admissions.

- How does the selection process work?

Awards are merit based and awarded to the most qualified applicants. Acceptance into the AdventHealth University BSN program is an eligibility requirement out the application.
Once a completed application is received, it is blinded to demographics, and the AHU Scholarship Coordinator will verify the GPA, references, and validate program acceptance with faculty.

- How do I know if I am eligible for the BSN scholarship?

Applicants must be biological children, stepchildren or legally adopted children age 26 or younger and be living with or primarily supported by an AdventHealth team member.
Applicants can be high school seniors, high school graduates or post-secondary undergraduates accepted into the AHU Bachelor of Science nursing program for the upcoming academic year.
The parent or legal guardian of the applicant must be a full-time AdventHealth team member in the Rocky Mountain Region in good standing, with one year of continuous service as of the application deadline.
- How many scholarships are available?

In this competitive program, 10 scholarships of up to $22,000 each are available.
- How will I know if I am awarded a scholarship?

Scholarship recipients will be notified directly via email following the close of the application window. Only those who have been selected will receive formal communication.

- What costs are covered as part of this scholarship?

The Nursing Pathways Scholarship will cover the cost of the AHU BSN program for tuition and fees up to $28,000. All recipients are required to complete the FAFSA as a condition of acceptance. The financial aid department will assess all aid that has been awarded to each scholar to include government aid and other scholarships awarded. Once assessed, the Nursing Pathways Scholarship will be applied to cover the remaining balance. The amount applied may vary per student and will not exceed $28,000. Expenses outside of program tuition and fees such as books, housing, and meals are not covered by this scholarship and are the responsibility of the student.
